FAQs

General FAQs

  • Do you offer a free trial class?

Even better — we offer a Money-Back Guarantee. Register for a class, try it out, and if after your first or second class you're not completely satisfied, just stop by the desk before the end of that second class and we'll refund every penny. No questions asked, no awkward conversations. We're that confident you'll love it.

  • What age can my child start?

As soon as they're walking! We welcome athletes starting at 1 year old all the way through adult programs. We have age-appropriate classes at every level, so whether you have a toddler finding their footing or a teenager ready to compete, there's a place for them at TGR.

  • What are the benefits of gymnastics for my child?

Honestly? The list is long. Gymnastics is one of the most complete developmental activities a child can do. Here's what research and 20 years of experience tells us:

Physical: Gymnastics builds strength and flexibility, improves coordination and balance, promotes cardiovascular health, and develops fine motor skills. It also helps develop strong bones and reduces the risk of health-related diseases including asthma, diabetes, and heart disease.

Mental: The cross-lateral movements in gymnastics strengthen the same neural pathways used in reading, and children with strong body awareness show advantages in mathematical reasoning and attention span. Gymnasts also develop work ethic — skills take time and repetition, and children learn what it means to keep showing up.

Social & Emotional: Listening to instructions, taking turns, respecting coaches, building friendships, and learning to work independently are all built into gymnastics. Research shows that physical activity in gymnastics is directly linked to higher self-esteem and self-efficacy, particularly in preteens.

And here's the best part — these benefits don't stay in the gym. They follow your child into the classroom, onto other sports fields, and through life.

  • Can I watch my child's class?

Absolutely — and we encourage it. We have a large, dedicated parent viewing area so you can watch the whole class. We just ask one thing: let our coaches do the coaching. No calling out instructions from the wall — it's confusing for the kids and honestly a little hard on our coaches too. Cheer loud, coach never.

  • Are your coaches background checked?

Every adult who works at Gymnastics Revolution has passed a criminal background check — full stop. As a proud USA Gymnastics (USAG) Member Club, this isn't optional for us, it's a requirement. USAG also mandates that all our coaches complete SafeSport certification through the U.S. Center for SafeSport. You shouldn't have to wonder who's with your child. We've made sure you don't have to.

  • How often is the facility cleaned?

We take cleanliness seriously. The facility is sprayed weekly with electrostatic disinfectant sprayers — the same technology used in hospitals — to make sure every surface is sanitized and safe for your little one.

  • When do classes start? Do I have to wait for a new session?

No waiting, no sessions, no scrambling to re-enroll every few months. Gymnastics Revolution is a year-round facility, which means once you're enrolled, you're in — continuously — until you decide otherwise. No registration windows, no "session full" panic, no starting over.

Once you register, your athlete can begin as soon as the next time their class meets. We do allow up to one week before your start date, but we're unable to hold spots beyond that — so once you're ready, jump in and let's get started.

As for class length, most classes run 50 minutes, though some programs vary. You'll see the specifics listed with each class.

  • How much are classes?

Monthly tuition is $140 for most recreational classes. Higher-level recreational and competitive programs are priced differently. Drop-in classes are available at $45 per session based on availability. Class Pricing

  • Who are your coaches? What are their qualifications?

At Gymnastics Revolution, our coaching staff is something we're genuinely proud of. Every coach on our floor is a trained adult professional — we don't put teenagers in charge of your child's development. Our coaches are hands-on trained in spotting technique, meaning they know how to physically guide and protect athletes through skills safely. We also require ongoing, consistent professional development to make sure every coach on our team stays sharp and current. When your child is on our floor, they're with people who take this seriously — because we do too.

  • What class should I sign my child up for?

Start with what your child loves. We offer parkour, tumbling, traditional artistic gymnastics (boys and girls), and trampoline. Find a day and time that works for your schedule and hit the Register button — it walks you through everything from there. All new athletes start at the beginner (Bronze) level. If during their first class our coaches see they're ready for something more advanced, we'll let you know immediately.

  • How do I pause or cancel my account?

We get it — seasons change. If you ever need to take a break, we just ask for one month's notice. Contact our front desk or send us an email. Notice received by the 8th of the month takes effect at the end of that month. Notice after the 8th takes effect at the end of the following month. Simple as that.

  • Do you have open gym?

We don't currently offer open gym, but we do have plenty of ways to get extra time in — including Parents' Night Out, adult gymnastics and tumbling classes, and seasonal camps. Ask us about what's coming up!

  • What if my child misses a class?

Life happens — no worries. We offer unlimited makeups. Simply contact us or log into your parent portal after a class is missed, and we'll get you into another day or time slot of the same class type. The makeup must be scheduled and completed within 30 days of the missed class, and is based on available space. If no spot is available, we unfortunately can't guarantee a makeup — but we always do our best to get your athlete back on the floor.

  • Do you accept Step Up for Students or other scholarships?

Yes! We work with many families who use the Step Up for Students scholarship program. While TGR is not a direct provider, we are happy to format receipts in the way the program requires for reimbursement. Contact our front desk and we'll walk you through exactly what you need — we want to make it as easy as possible for every family to access our programs.

  • Is gymnastics safe for my child?

Gymnastics is one of the most coached and supervised sports your child can participate in. At TGR, safety is built into everything we do — from our professionally trained adult coaching staff, to our spotting protocols, to our equipment. Gymnastics builds a stronger, more capable body than almost any other activity a child can do at this age — developing strength, flexibility, coordination, and body awareness simultaneously. We start kids as young as walking age and progress them at their own pace — never pushing a child to a skill they're not ready for. Our coaches are trained to spot and support athletes physically through every new skill, so your child is never left to figure it out on their own.

  • How does tuition work?

Tuition is billed automatically on the 1st of every month to your card on file. Easy and hands-off — just make sure your payment info stays current so there are no interruptions to your child's classes.

  • What if my payment doesn't go through?

If there's ever an issue with your payment, you'll get an email right away with everything you need to know so you can get it sorted quickly.

  • What discounts do you offer?

We offer discounts for multiple classes per week, siblings enrolled together, and our Heroes Discount for first responders — that means police, fire, EMS, and military. You serve our community; the least we can do is return the favor.

  • Are animals allowed in the facility?

For the safety of our athletes, no pets or animals are permitted inside TGR. We do fully comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and warmly welcome trained service animals. If you have any questions before your visit, please don't hesitate to contact our front desk.
