FAQs
General FAQs
Do you offer a free trial class?
Even better — we offer a Money-Back Guarantee. Register for a class, try it out, and if after your first or second class you're not completely satisfied, just stop by the desk before the end of that second class and we'll refund every penny. No questions asked, no awkward conversations. We're that confident you'll love it.
What age can my child start?
As soon as they're walking! We welcome athletes starting at 1 year old all the way through adult programs. We have age-appropriate classes at every level, so whether you have a toddler finding their footing or a teenager ready to compete, there's a place for them at TGR.
What are the benefits of gymnastics for my child?
Honestly? The list is long. Gymnastics is one of the most complete developmental activities a child can do. Here's what research and 20 years of experience tells us:
Physical: Gymnastics builds strength and flexibility, improves coordination and balance, promotes cardiovascular health, and develops fine motor skills. It also helps develop strong bones and reduces the risk of health-related diseases including asthma, diabetes, and heart disease.
Mental: The cross-lateral movements in gymnastics strengthen the same neural pathways used in reading, and children with strong body awareness show advantages in mathematical reasoning and attention span. Gymnasts also develop work ethic — skills take time and repetition, and children learn what it means to keep showing up.
Social & Emotional: Listening to instructions, taking turns, respecting coaches, building friendships, and learning to work independently are all built into gymnastics. Research shows that physical activity in gymnastics is directly linked to higher self-esteem and self-efficacy, particularly in preteens.
And here's the best part — these benefits don't stay in the gym. They follow your child into the classroom, onto other sports fields, and through life.
Can I watch my child's class?
Absolutely — and we encourage it. We have a large, dedicated parent viewing area so you can watch the whole class. We just ask one thing: let our coaches do the coaching. No calling out instructions from the wall — it's confusing for the kids and honestly a little hard on our coaches too. Cheer loud, coach never.
Are your coaches background checked?
Every adult who works at Gymnastics Revolution has passed a criminal background check — full stop. As a proud USA Gymnastics (USAG) Member Club, this isn't optional for us, it's a requirement. USAG also mandates that all our coaches complete SafeSport certification through the U.S. Center for SafeSport. You shouldn't have to wonder who's with your child. We've made sure you don't have to.
How often is the facility cleaned?
We take cleanliness seriously. The facility is sprayed weekly with electrostatic disinfectant sprayers — the same technology used in hospitals — to make sure every surface is sanitized and safe for your little one.
When do classes start? Do I have to wait for a new session?
No waiting, no sessions, no scrambling to re-enroll every few months. Gymnastics Revolution is a year-round facility, which means once you're enrolled, you're in — continuously — until you decide otherwise. No registration windows, no "session full" panic, no starting over.
Once you register, your athlete can begin as soon as the next time their class meets. We do allow up to one week before your start date, but we're unable to hold spots beyond that — so once you're ready, jump in and let's get started.
As for class length, most classes run 50 minutes, though some programs vary. You'll see the specifics listed with each class.
How much are classes?
Monthly tuition is $140 for most recreational classes. Higher-level recreational and competitive programs are priced differently. Drop-in classes are available at $45 per session based on availability. Class Pricing
Who are your coaches? What are their qualifications?
At Gymnastics Revolution, our coaching staff is something we're genuinely proud of. Every coach on our floor is a trained adult professional — we don't put teenagers in charge of your child's development. Our coaches are hands-on trained in spotting technique, meaning they know how to physically guide and protect athletes through skills safely. We also require ongoing, consistent professional development to make sure every coach on our team stays sharp and current. When your child is on our floor, they're with people who take this seriously — because we do too.
What class should I sign my child up for?
Start with what your child loves. We offer parkour, tumbling, traditional artistic gymnastics (boys and girls), and trampoline. Find a day and time that works for your schedule and hit the Register button — it walks you through everything from there. All new athletes start at the beginner (Bronze) level. If during their first class our coaches see they're ready for something more advanced, we'll let you know immediately.
How do I pause or cancel my account?
We get it — seasons change. If you ever need to take a break, we just ask for one month's notice. Contact our front desk or send us an email. Notice received by the 8th of the month takes effect at the end of that month. Notice after the 8th takes effect at the end of the following month. Simple as that.
Do you have open gym?
We don't currently offer open gym, but we do have plenty of ways to get extra time in — including Parents' Night Out, adult gymnastics and tumbling classes, and seasonal camps. Ask us about what's coming up!
What if my child misses a class?
Life happens — no worries. We offer unlimited makeups. Simply contact us or log into your parent portal after a class is missed, and we'll get you into another day or time slot of the same class type. The makeup must be scheduled and completed within 30 days of the missed class, and is based on available space. If no spot is available, we unfortunately can't guarantee a makeup — but we always do our best to get your athlete back on the floor.
Do you accept Step Up for Students or other scholarships?
Yes! We work with many families who use the Step Up for Students scholarship program. While TGR is not a direct provider, we are happy to format receipts in the way the program requires for reimbursement. Contact our front desk and we'll walk you through exactly what you need — we want to make it as easy as possible for every family to access our programs.
Is gymnastics safe for my child?
Gymnastics is one of the most coached and supervised sports your child can participate in. At TGR, safety is built into everything we do — from our professionally trained adult coaching staff, to our spotting protocols, to our equipment. Gymnastics builds a stronger, more capable body than almost any other activity a child can do at this age — developing strength, flexibility, coordination, and body awareness simultaneously. We start kids as young as walking age and progress them at their own pace — never pushing a child to a skill they're not ready for. Our coaches are trained to spot and support athletes physically through every new skill, so your child is never left to figure it out on their own.
How does tuition work?
Tuition is billed automatically on the 1st of every month to your card on file. Easy and hands-off — just make sure your payment info stays current so there are no interruptions to your child's classes.
What if my payment doesn't go through?
If there's ever an issue with your payment, you'll get an email right away with everything you need to know so you can get it sorted quickly.
What discounts do you offer?
We offer discounts for multiple classes per week, siblings enrolled together, and our Heroes Discount for first responders — that means police, fire, EMS, and military. You serve our community; the least we can do is return the favor.
Are animals allowed in the facility?
For the safety of our athletes, no pets or animals are permitted inside TGR. We do fully comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and warmly welcome trained service animals. If you have any questions before your visit, please don't hesitate to contact our front desk.

What if the class I want is full?
Join the waitlist at no charge — you'll just need a free account on our website to secure your spot. If another day or time works, you can enroll now and waitlist your preferred class at the same time so your child starts immediately. When your spot opens, we'll reach out to confirm before anything is charged. Each waitlist moves independently, so timing varies by class.

What does my child need to bring?
Three things: water, your athlete, and a good attitude. If your child is taking a trampoline class, add regular socks to that list — no grip socks, just plain ones.
What should my child wear to class?
Leotards are the way to go — we carry plenty of options right in our lobby pro-shop if you need one. No leotard? No problem. Just make sure clothing is form-fitting with no buttons, zippers, or hard parts. Skip the skirts, tutus, and loose shorts. Any shirt needs to fully cover the midsection or tuck in and stay tucked in. Think: your kid should be able to flip upside down without a wardrobe malfunction.
What about hair?
Hair longer than shoulder length must be secured up and out of the eyes. Buns are great — just use soft hair ties or scrunchies. Hard clips, bobby pins, bows, beads, and barrettes are not allowed on the floor. This isn't us being picky — it's about keeping your athlete (and their teammates) safe.
What jewelry is allowed in class?
Stud earrings are welcome. All other jewelry — necklaces, bracelets, anklets, hoops, anything dangling — must be removed before class. This is strictly for your athlete's safety on the floor.
Can my child wear earrings?
Stud earrings are totally fine. Hoops, dangly earrings, or anything that could catch mid-cartwheel need to come off before class. Safety first, fashion second.
How many kids are in each class?
We maintain a strict 8:1 athlete-to-coach ratio in all recreational classes — and we take that seriously. Smaller classes mean your child gets real attention on their individual skills, not just time on the floor. It's one of the ways we make sure every athlete is seen, coached, and progressing.

How many days a week are classes?
Classes are offered on multiple days and times throughout the week, and you register for the specific day and time that works for your family. Plenty of families opt for more than one class per week — it's a great way to accelerate progress and burn some of that energy.
When does my child move to the next level?
At TGR, there are no arbitrary timelines or waiting periods. We use a custom skill-by-skill progression system built over 20 years. Every athlete is assigned their own set of skills when they start, and our coaches track progress individually in our system. When all skills are checked off, your child receives an official invitation to advance. It's about their journey — not a calendar.
Camp FAQs
When is camp and what are the hours?
TGR offers Summer, Spring, Winter, and School'Out Day Camps throughout the year. All camps run from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Drop-off begins at 8:00 AM and pickup is at 3:00 PM. We do not currently offer early drop-off or aftercare outside of these hours.
Does my child need gymnastics experience to attend camp?
Not at all. Many of our campers are brand new to the sport and that's exactly what camp is designed for. We also welcome seasoned athletes looking to sharpen their skills. Campers are grouped by age and skill level so everyone is challenged appropriately and no one feels out of place. There is genuinely something for every athlete.
What should my child bring to camp?
Pack these and you're good to go:
- Socks
- A sealed water bottle (no straws, no taller than 11 inches)
- Lunch and snacks
- A positive attitude
How much does camp cost?
Weekly camps (Summer and Spring) are $350 per week and are available by the week only — no daily rate for these sessions. Winter and Day Camps are available by the day at $75 per day. Registration is simple — head to the Camps page on our website and sign up directly.
What do campers do all day?
Campers hit the ground running. Drop-off starts at 8:00 AM with time in the camp room to settle in, connect with other campers, and get energized for the day. By 8:50 AM everyone is on the floor. From there, campers rotate through structured gymnastics time focused on skill progression, games and relay races, and open discovery time — a coach-supervised period where athletes explore different equipment and events at their own pace, try new things, and find what excites them. Lunch is at 11:30 AM and lasts 45 minutes. After lunch it's back to the floor until 2:30 PM. The day is full, active, and moving the entire time.
Do you provide food at camp?
Campers bring their own lunch from home — please make sure it's ready to eat as we don't have heating available. Fridays during full week camps are Pizza Day where parents can purchase pizza in advance. We have snacks and drinks available for purchase at our front desk snack shack as well.
What is your cancellation and refund policy for camps?
We require a minimum of two weeks notice for cancellations. Cancellations made with less than two weeks notice are not eligible for a refund. We recommend registering early to secure your spot — camps fill up fast.
How are campers grouped?
Campers are grouped by age and skill level. Groupings may shift depending on the activity or event to make sure every camper is in the right environment to learn, grow, and have fun.
How does TGR handle behavior at camp?
Our coaches are experienced professionals who understand that every child is different. Whether a camper needs a few minutes to regroup, some extra encouragement to try a new skill, or a reminder that persistence is part of the process — our staff handles it with patience and care. Our goal is for every camper to leave feeling accomplished.
Can I watch camp?
We have a parent viewing area available. Camp is a full, active day and we find campers tend to focus and thrive when they're fully immersed with their group — but you're always welcome to check in.
What if my child gets hurt at camp?
Safety is our priority. We have a First Aid certified staff member on site at all times. Most bumps and bruises are minor and handled quickly with some care and ice. Any minor injury will be reported to you at pickup. For anything more significant, we will administer first aid and contact you immediately.
What if my child has allergies or a medical need?
Please note any medical accommodations on your registration form in the designated fields, and give us a heads up at drop-off as well. Any medications or inhalers your child needs should be handed to our front desk at drop-off — we'll make sure they're available and administered as instructed throughout the day.
How do I know which camp week to register for?
Any week works for first-timers — all of our camps are designed to be fun and welcoming for new athletes. Summer Camp is the exception, where each week has its own unique theme, so browse those dates to find what excites your child most. Outside of summer, every camp is gymnastics-focused and a great fit regardless of which week you choose. When in doubt, pick the week that works for your schedule and register — spots fill up fast.
Who can pick up my child from camp?
For your child's safety, pickup is only permitted by an adult 18 or older who is listed on your account and has a valid photo ID — no exceptions. Simply come to the front desk, request your child, and our staff will radio for them. They'll be up front shortly.
Aftercare FAQs
What is the T.U.M.B.L.E. aftercare program?
T.U.M.B.L.E. — Teaching, Understanding, Mobility, Brainstorming, Laughing, and Excellence — is TGR's one-of-a-kind aftercare program. It combines our state-of-the-art gymnastics facility and professional coaching staff with experienced educators to create an afternoon your child will actually look forward to. There is nothing else like it in the area.
What should my child bring to T.U.M.B.L.E.?
Their backpack, homework, a sealed water bottle, and athletic clothing — form-fitting with no buttons, zippers, or hard parts, and hair secured if longer than shoulder length. We provide a daily snack, but if your child has a preference or dietary need, feel free to pack something. Additional snacks and drinks are also available for purchase at our front desk.
How does school pickup work?
Our staff picks up your child directly from the school bus loop in our newer, air-conditioned Ford Transit vans and transports them safely to our facility. Kids typically arrive between 2:45 and 3:00 PM depending on traffic and dismissal timing.
What does a typical T.U.M.B.L.E. afternoon look like?
Kids arrive, drop their things, and get a snack to refuel. Then it's gym time — active, fun, and a perfect way to shake off the energy built up during the school day. Homework time follows, supervised by staff with computer access for iReady and other school-based programs. Most kids leave with their homework done. After homework it's back to the gym to play, move, and have fun until pickup at 6:00 PM.
How does homework time work?
Homework time is supervised by staff and includes access to computers for iReady and other digital coursework. We take academics seriously — most T.U.M.B.L.E. athletes finish their homework before they go home.
Does my child need gymnastics experience for T.U.M.B.L.E.?
Not at all. Gym time in T.U.M.B.L.E. is open and fun — obstacle courses, floor games, and various equipment — not a structured gymnastics class. Every child finds something they love on the floor.
Can my child take a gymnastics class during T.U.M.B.L.E.?
Absolutely — and it fits seamlessly. If your child is enrolled in a class during aftercare hours, they transition from T.U.M.B.L.E. to class and right back when it's done. It's one of the best perks of the program.
Who can pick up my child from T.U.M.B.L.E.?
For your child's safety, pickup is only permitted by an adult 18 or older who is listed on your account and has a valid photo ID — no exceptions. Come to the front desk, request your child, and our staff will radio for them. They'll be up front shortly.
What time does T.U.M.B.L.E. end and what if I'm late?
The program runs until 6:00 PM. If you arrive after 6:00 PM, a late fee of $1.00 per minute applies. We know life happens — just do your best to be on time
Do you run T.U.M.B.L.E. on early dismissal days or school holidays?
T.U.M.B.L.E. does not run on early dismissal days or school holidays. However, we offer School's Out Day Camp on days when school is not in session — a great option to keep your child active and learning. Register directly on our website.
Are your drivers background checked?
Yes. Our drivers are the same professional staff who work with your children on the gym floor every day. They hold the same background check and SafeSport certifications required of all TGR coaches. The people in that van are the same people you already trust.
How do I enroll in T.U.M.B.L.E. or cancel if needed?
Enrollment works just like our regular classes — sign up through our website and you're in on a continuous basis. If you ever need to stop, we require one month's notice. Contact our front desk and they'll handle everything.
What if my child gets hurt during T.U.M.B.L.E.?
We have a First Aid certified staff member on site at all times. Minor incidents are handled on site and reported to you at pickup. For anything more significant, we administer first aid and contact you immediately.
How does T.U.M.B.L.E. handle behavior?
Our professional coaches understand that every child is different. Whether a child needs a few minutes to reset or some encouragement to push through a challenge, our staff handles it with patience and care. Our goal is a positive afternoon, every day.
